Heart's Talk

When I first saw you,
I didn't know what to do,
To greet you hi,
Or to bid goodbye.

Then the attraction started,
Soon the seed was planted,
Growing deeper by the day,
Much more than I can say.

Only that moment lasted,
The rest slips away,
Once,or twice,I paused and pondered,
What our lives would be like today.

Our bond created,
My heart you painted,
Making me feel elated,
Till the day we both parted.

I waited and waited,
Until the colours faded,
And the leaves withered,
It seems like we were not fated.
