The Days..

Yesterday was a history,
Today unveils a new story,
While tomorrow remains a mystery,
Only God knows what's in store for me.

My eyes open to see the bright morning sun,
At times blissfully waking to the melodious raindrops that run,
I've risen to skies of many hue,
Only never to the sight of you.

The days seem to pass,
My existence makes little difference or more,
Cause I'm always making a fuss,
Which makes the world less a bore.

It's hard to avoid a mistake,
The more I try not to the more I make,
Where did all my confidence sway,
Without it I dare not play.

Many a times I worry too much,
About why things should be such,
Thinking makes me lightheaded and dizzy,
It's no surprise if I go crazy.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of life,
I've only a moment to take five,
But this is part and parcel of life,
I can do nothing but learn to strive.

Your presence makes me feel lonely,
Your absence leaves me empty,
It's not so easy to forget the day,
On you my eyes lay.

When you break my heart,
And the longing is tearing me apart,
It will take a while,
To see my smile.

When will there be a tomorrow,
That won't leave room for sorrow,
Only happiness fills the air,
And the world suddenly feels so fair.

Having to live with the fear,
I'd rather disappear,
Even till the last breath I take,
He'll be with me for my sake.
