Only a Dream

The images that kept replaying seem
More than just a dream
Yet I could not tell if it was my unconscious creation
Or maybe,you do exist in this nation

By night and by day
Still on the bed I lay
Longing for that dream to play
Until it ended in a beautiful way

Here goes a little love story
That blossomed without worry
Their love was second to nothing
The girl and the boy in my dreams were supposed to have a happy ending

He was the knight in shining armour
While she was the damsel in distress
She couldn't be surer that he was her warrior
That has come to save her from all this mess

They lived together in a castle
Far away from the hustle and bustle
In the morning,they tend their farms
At night,they lie in each other's arms

Suddenly that sweet dream evolves into a horrible nightmare
When I wake up to find that you're not there
Trying to deny you're just my imagination
Nothing but a mere hallucination

Then one day you came
Calling for me,saying my name
Since then I couldn't tell dream and reality apart
All I could remember is your face was beautiful art

The concerned look in your eyes
They can really entice
Your gentle touch fills me to the brim
And brings me back to the sweetest dream

That moment and ever since
I'm convinced I've found my prince
