The Sick Planet Earth

What have the world become today
That our hearts are covered with clouds of grey
What happened to joy and peace,always in pair
That used to fill the air?

Many are denied basic rights
For a shelter we see fights
Not even a roof over the head
Oh,my!What fate

Those who live in luxury
Have no idea about poverty
Wealth substitutes being healthy
Money replace being happy

But crime knows no difference
It only separates good from evil
Spare me the suspense,
I hope but to no avail

Mass murders,multiple killings
Gang rape,botched robbery
Cruel are human beings
To commit sin after sin too freely

Abuse of family and friends
Is where good tie ends
And leaves only a flood
Full of bad blood

People face death
Without breathing one last breath
Innocent ones plea
While sinful ones flee

I pray and pray
Asking for love and mercy
Only the Lord can hear what i say
For He is the great and almighty
