No man is an island
But perhaps that man lived alone on the secluded island?
All by himself,stranded
Lost,dejected
It's another particular day
Where things seem to go wrong, whichever way
Lonelier than the already lonely
Thoughts of his own,why should anyone worry?
Drowning in the crowd
Misfitting and pushed out
It's worse than being alone
So he drifts into a world he calls his own
Waking up is a nightmare
Sometimes,he stops and stares
Wishing he's a part of the show
But no one sees him,no one knows
He's learnt to be quiet and still
But when silence is deafening he'd hum to himself,he definitely will
He's crazy,people might say
But to him it keeps insanity at bay
Hiding behind masks of insecurity
He knows,life is about uncertainty
He also knows, life is one big mess
And it comes with all that stress
Falling into that black bottomless pit
Isn't something new,not one bit
Slowly but surely he's adapting
Groping in the dark to keep on living
He only wants to mingle
Sick and tired of being single
He only wants a true friend
Who'll be there from the beginning to the end
Coming out of his shell he must try
Though his dream life is still a far cry
He's holding on to every morsel of hope
Praying hard that God'll give him the strength to cope
He believes one day he'll find meaning in life
Then he'll experience peace,not strife
He believes one day he'll paint his rainbow
One that'll illustrate his life and make it glow.
